Icon20 Help!! Identify antique heirloom

Have had this Rolex given to me (see pictures) that has great sentimental value from my grandparents.

I've recently had to fix the claws in the bracelet and was told by a Rolex store that this may be 1920's-1930's piece, however was not able to identify the make or model for me.

Can anyone help? Most sites that I've googled show predominently men's watches and few ladies styles, and almost all of which have a circle rather than a square face dial. Bonus points if you have a rough idea how much it is worth (please state currency)!!!

Many thanks!

i would place the production of this piece to sometime in the 30s. if you could take the back off and take some pics of the movement. that will allow me and the other trf members to give you a better idea of what you have.

This watch almost certainly dates to the 1950s-60s. These models are not collectible, and not even especially desirable at this point. Put it on the scale, multiply the weight in grams against the current spot price of gold, and add a few hundred dollars (I assume the case content to be 14K). That will be your real value in today's market.

Anytime you see a stainless back, it's not likely to be 30s. Most of the 30s casebacks that SEEM to be stainless are chromed or coated steel or base. I'm not speaking of Rolex, only of vintage watches in general. Even without a serial number, the caseback suggests late 40s minimum (apparently during the early 40s, there was a war that used most supplies of stainless in many nations). I even have a 1940s Gruen with a SILVER caseback, made to look like stainless. While this watch may not be heinously valuable in terms of cash, I think it's cute.

1950s at earliest. Not valuable but interesting.
