New Member and new Rolex Owner

Hello Everyone, I'm a new member here and just got my first Rolex last week. A friend of mine owned it and never wore it. I had told him and his wife I was interested in it if he ever wanted to sell it. I worked with his wife for 25 years till her retirement in 2010. Well, he died last year and she called me last week and told me she was going to sell the watch if I was still interested.

It is an 18KT yellow gold Day Date President with 18KT yellow gold President bracelet, Black onyx dial and florentine trim. The Rolex dealer in our town told her to not take less then $5000 for it. She told me I could have it for that. Did I do OK?

Thanks,
Scott
