Wrist Size
Hi Everyone,
I am new here and currently saving up for a TT Bluesy, as this has been a dream watch of mine for many years. But now, with all this talk lately of wrist sizes, I'm getting wrist envy... ![]() As a kid I broke my wrist and it is 6" in diameter. Certainly, I couldn't sport a Breitling, but I've tried on the Subs and the 40mm size never bothered me. I quite like the size. Can it be sized to my specifications? Other smaller-wristed fellows want to share their stories? ![]() Thanks, Tony in Buffalo |

Welcome to TRF. Try taking off all 13½ links and it should fit....PERFECT!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Seriously, you might have to take off at least 3~4 links. JJ

Tony,
A Rolex can be sized to fit anybody.. If removing the screw links doesn't do the job, your AD can have some of the permanent links removed. ![]() |

Welcome to TRF Tony.
My wrist is 6.5" and I've had out 2 links from my sub and 3 out of my DJ (jubilee bracelet). If you're not sure try it on and ask a woman friend what she thinks - bit of a generalisation but IMHO women have great judgement as to what looks right on a man...

Welcome to TRF, Tony!
![]() A wrist that measures 7½" is the "perfect" size if you want to strap on a Rolex straight from the box when you buy it. With that wrist size, most often you don't need to do any adjustments, at all. As stated, you can remove links and - to an extend - also adjust the clasp. Here is a good link about how to adjust the Sub and GMT bracelets: Bracelet length! CLICK! ![]()

Mine fit right out of the box - no adjustment needed.

Thanks for the welcome and info, guys! Sounds like we'll make it work...
Worse comes to worst, I'll just have to see about getting wrist augmentation surgery! ![]() |
