For me, no contest. Not the rarest by any stretch, but... OH, the provenance. I care a lot more about a watch that has a story than one that is considered a rarity. Second place would be, as someone has mentioned, a MilSub with a spectacular history. Something along the lines of 'Worn by an SAS member whilst storming the Iranian Embassy in 1980' or somesuch. |
