For sale or trade is my Glashütte Original Senator Chronometer in rose gold. Glashütte Original uses the word "chronometer" because it is a certified chronometer and the timing results are included. The Senator Chronometer is powered by the high-precision, manual winding calibre 58-01. A novel stop-seconds/reset mechanism allows the wearer to set the precise time with ease and guarantees the correct relationship between the minutes and seconds displayed. Pulling the crown stops the time display and causes the second hand to jump to the beginning position, where it remains; the minute hand moves simultaneously to the next full minute. When the crown is then turned to set the time, the minute hand stops only on the indication of the full minute, thus always guaranteeing the correct relationship between the minutes and seconds displayed. The Senator is 42 mm in diameter. It is in near mint condition. Only a few small superficial marks are present. The dial is a frosted silver with engraved Roman Numerals. The hands are blued steel and striking in their beauty. The trademark Glashütte Original big date along with the power reserve complete the spectacular dial. Look and see.
