Recant!

For all the times I said the 372 is too big... I tried it again today and for some reason it just felt right! I don't know why it felt different than previously but it did. I recant my previous position on this watch.

so let me know if you decide to let your pam 233 go. Actually, i just went to Ad today and tried 233 again and also tried 372, it's really a beautiful one. i asked my friend (sale manager) over there that which one you prefer!? He said 372 and i asked him why you chose 372 over 233. he said that for money and panerai. 372 is the best.

p.s. honestly, it fits you perfectly, Mike. very beautiful one.

Still way too big for me.
But for everyone else who digs 'em, go nuts. They're a great looking piece.

Bright, clear coupla pics Mike, thanks for that.

Cheers

I agree Mike.
The styling of the case feels just right on the wrist despite the 47mm size.
Looks good on you.....tempted?

Looks great on you. Almost a year into 372 ownership, and I am still over the moon.

I just tried on the 233, and it's the best feeling panerai so far for me. . But that 372 looks great too!

U see, this wrist looks much smaller than yours, or flatter, let's say.. IMHO it suits him more. So it's NOT JUST about size, it's more slylin' than sizin'!
I'd think u should go 42-44mm. Your wrist shape & size would balance the watch size, or vice versa. Remember, relativity in design plays a big part!

I'm kind of tempted to try it but want to compare it with the 422 which I think may be a more practical watch. The 233 still feels better on my wrist IMHO.

Ha! I think it looks fine on you. Can I ask what size is your wrist?
Your 233 is smoking hot, and your 312 is as well. This is just very different and the flat back sits differently than the traditional 1950 case.
I think if you put on a 422 you will end up getting one. They are sweet. And if you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

btw, I love how my plexi looks and feels.

On this model, yes. No big deal taking care of it and the little hairlines add to the vintage look. However, I wouldn't wear one during any arduous activities.

Probably close to yours at 6.5". I've owned many PAMs over the years but the 233 is the best fitting.
