pam 372 question

Dear TRF's,

I've had the 372 for nearly 2 weeks now, since its my first experience with the p.3000.
the winding does not stop after certain number of winds like other panerai movements.
Is that normal?

Thanx in advance,

You should give it a good wind till it can't go any further.

Actually i started this thread due to the diffrence seen between my friends "pam 000" and mine when winded the ETA comes to full stop while p.3000 does slight resistance only

Mine comes to a dead stop after some resistance. Are you getting 72 hrs. +/- out of it?

I was told to wind it 20 rounds only. I just winded it, and it took around 40 rounds to get to that hard resistance u were telling me.
Will check how many hrs and let you know

Thank u,

I don't think 20 winds is enough to hold 3 days.

Hope it works out. Keep us posted.

I believe the 372 winds to a stop....

You should try winding it to the full reserve. I believe I tried before and it was upwards to 70 or 80, just keep going till you feel it get too hard, (it will stop clicking when this happens).

The 372's movement does not have a clutch like the 233's movement.
