Rolex dilemma....

I used to own a Rolex 14060M non cocs, I traded it in for a new Rolex Maxi Sub model, however recently I have been missing my 14060, to the point of thinking about selling my new Rolex Sub and getting a second hand 14060 and maybe also buying a Omega Seamaster used for during the day wear. ( The Rolex only comes out at special times )
What do you think?

What's the point of buying one of the most "tool watch" Rolex and its only worn at special time?

If you do not like it then flip it, however, it is a great watch, shame it is not getting worn.

I know I know I just hate to think I would damage it, believe me I love the watch I just don't wear it enough to keep it sitting there, that's why was thinking get a 14060 it's a bit cheaper and get the Omega for everyday wear deffo.....

Like others, I think your selling Rolex short, especially the 14060.

You should wear the Sub daily and you wouldn't need a watch for special occasions, but if you must, it would better that the Omega be relegated to such a position.

Why would you "save" a SS tool watch for special occasions. IMHO I don't prefer wearing my Sub with a suit of formal wear (it works but there are better options.)

I think we all have a daily watch and also one (or several) that we don't wear daily to avoid the inevitable dings in daily service.

Nothing wrong with that idea - and if a 14060 is your "protected one", more power to ya!

I wear a Ball daily and rotate a few Rolex with it when I need change of pace.

I had a D series14060 as well. I sold it for funding an SD.

You should be able to find a good 14060.

I'd forget about the Seamaster. If you're looking for bullet proof reliability stick with the no date sub.

If you have a great, tough watch like a Sub-date or 14060, wear it everyday for everything. You really only live so long-- if you aren't wearing it during the day, you aren't wearing it much, at all.
