Welcome & Congrats! Great piece! Classic Timeless Elegant.

Now here's where it gets bad. I'm sorry to inform you that this site will act as your enabler and you will spend lots of money and I mean lots on your habit. I urge you to get out now before it's too late.

I love the ExpI. Can use it both as a dress and sport watch!

The Explorer I 39 mm was my first Rolex too!
I bought it from an AD, before I found out about the great DavidSW.
It has been more than a year and I find myself still starring at it when it's on my wrist.
(I also wore it on my wedding day even though I have a AP ROC in the line up)

Welcome and enjoy!

thanks to all for the kind words and for the warm welcome! and also thanks to those who offered praise for my car which i'm happy to report is my daily driver!

to me nice things are worth owning if they can take a little abuse in stride, so while i'll probably cringe at the first ding on the expI (as i did with the first ding on my bumper), i'll wear it as a badge of honor.

plus i've always found that a little wear and tear is a great excuse to look for something new...

thanks again!!
