Aftermarket parts

Before we get started here I am not talking about counterfeit parts!

My jubilee bracelet is shot and I want to replace it with an oyster bracelet but at this time I can't afford a genuine Rolex and used ones for reasonable prices are usually very used, if you know what I mean.

So, I'm considering an aftermarket bracelet until I either find a GOOD used one or can afford a new one from Rolex, and was wondering if anyone could help steer me toward a place that sells quality aftermarket parts. There are a LOT of places selling and it's hard to know the quality of their goods.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

There are many retailers on the net that sell quality aftermarket oyster/Jubilee type bracelets. And many are on par with the Rolex bracelets. Main difference most are made from 316L S.Steel which in the real world has little difference over the 904L.And as long as they are not made to deceive with the Rolex branding myself have not got any problem with said parts.

Your bracelet can allways be repaired.

Also the other option is to buy a used but not broken jubilee and have it rebuild by MY.

I have not bought an a/m Jubilee, but when I was at my local jeweler, I had a look at their bracelet rack and was stunned at how good their "Rolex style" Jubilee bracelet looked (TT).
Now the question is how it would hold up over time. I would lower my expectations.

I have bought a couple ss bracelets for non-Rolex watches, over the years, and have been impressed with the quality both times. I don't like the idea of gold plate, so haven't bought one, but the ones I've seen are pretty good looking. You can find piles of bracelets on ebay, and I'm not sure whether or not there is much difference in quality. I have usually bought a Hadley Roma just because that's a brand I know. You might try strappedfortime's site. They have decent pictures. $50-$60 is about the price.

Thanks for the suggestions. I appreciate the help.

sicbbrown, Strapped For Time only has one oyster bracelet and it's for a dive watch with the hidden expansion link. Thanks for the suggestion anyway!

Anyone else have a suggestion on where to buy?
