Panerai’s New Special Edition Radiomir 10 Days GMT

Panerai has introduced three new Special Edition Radiomir 10 Days GMT watches in platinum, white gold, and red gold, powered by the automatic P.2003 manufacture movement, which has a power reserve of ten days. The dial features a date window, a small seconds dial, and a power reserve indicator. The color of the strap and dial vary on each depending on the the case material. The Platino version (PAM00495), limited to 100 pieces, has a black dial with ecru colour Super-LumiNova and a brown strap. The Oro Bianco (PAM00496) is limited to 250 pieces and has a black dial and a black strap. And the Oro Rosso (PAM00497), also limited to 250, has a brown dial with ecru Super-LumiNova and a dark brown strap.

Always good to see more Radiomir models, but, the dials, they're too busy for my eye and definitely unsuited to my fiscal policy, lean as it is ;-)

Now, if they were to bring out something along the lines of the 232....

Cheers

Thanks for sharing. Great to see what Panerai is doing and bringing out.
Since I can not afford any of those, I will refrain from opining.

Thanks for sharing the update. Always great to see the new stuff on here.

I will stand up and say that as far as the whole 'DNA' thing goes, I'm at the back of the queue. But that dial has more going on than Heathrow airport on a Monday morning.

"platinum" written on the dial?

otherwise, not bad, not bad at all.

389, 504 & 505, and now these three? what's going to happen at SIHH 2013?

I think quite a few are still waiting for the 2012 models...

Too cluttered for my taste!

I'm simple when it comes to PAM's

I agree that the Platinum on the dial is odd. Would they put "white gold" or "red gold" on the dial? I do not understand that. Anyway, I'm considering a 000 as that's closer to what I can afford.

Automatic RADIOMIRS are a sin. Also WTH PAM a faketina datewheel on a white/green numeral PAM?

Then I'm a sinner...
and pleased along with it.

Tell me this looks bad, a movement from one of the "noble" manufactures.
Decorated to the max, not just the top layer. Just butt ugly, eh

Radiomir automatics with dates, ohh, so very unattractive aren't they...
And it's fitted with one o those terrible early crowns like the first watches with just an "OP" marking.

I'm well pleased they didn't make any more than 500, for the one year only.

I should be ashamed to own this PAM 141, somebody whip me.

Good thing I have a JLC Reverso to wear, something with just a dash of DNA.

Cheers

Nah, c'mon, I just like Radiomirs.

Had a Luminor, once
And you know what, I'll probably end up having one again. Probably the same model, a #177, but as a lefty I also dig the 219.

Foe me, Radiomirs ring my bell.

I didn't take any offense at your post, crikey bloke, we all have our own views and passions, especially when it comes to watches.

Cheers

Not sure f I could like that "bombie old one" in the bottom pic, crystal's all cracked and come off.

The other two, now yer talkin'!

Like i really need reminding I just sold my #210 with the gold hands made to look like the #232, then you hit me with the, 190?

I'm blinded, blinded I tell you ;-) What lovely photos.

All I need now is for mik (mfer) to roll out his classic Radiomir shots, with THAT ABP I love !!!
C'mon mik, I dare you, c'mon.

Cheers

Nothing busy about a 231 dial, best looking gold model Radiomir I've seen.

A tad busy but still pretty cool - and that pic has got me thinking about a JV strap for my 292!

Thanks mik,
You know I'm always happy to see THE ABP.
I used to like the JV series until I realised I make those sort of straps look old too quickly.

Cheers
Richard

A couple more 496 pix, this time from Panerai's FB page. I like the raised indexes combined with the sandwich dial.
