Did someone say straps??? Here is mine with a GSD Horween CXL. Great everyday strap - water just seems to bead off it.

I don't think he is a resident of anything any more.
I am pretty sure he never had a 372 either. I asked for photos of it several times, and got a big fat ZERO!

I hear ya but I find it odd that someone would go to the very enthusiastic extent he did to solicit strap advice for a watch he didn't own though. Regardless, dude made some oddly blunt comments.

He's moved on - over to another forum... using another nick. He's keeping his commentary a little more diplomatic and controlled this time, so maybe he'll be more successful this time around

Unfortunately it seems this is not the first time someone claims to have a watch but doesn't want to share [pics] with us... . I don't understand the advantage of such claims...

So... turns out that 1. he's just as tedious as ever (imo) but 2. he has graciously provided photos. Considering 1. - I couldn't be bothered to talk / think about him anymore, but since I insinuated that he didn't have the 372 - I'm obliged to share a wrist shot he published elsewhere (had to be in one of my threads, of course... ). Having done that, I can now freely ignore his existence

Post your pics of your favorite modern Panerai.

For me I love the 190 for the classic cushion case and the accurately represented second hand for the 8 day power reserve.
WOW What SIZE is that?? MM wise...?

45mm, typical size of most PAM Radiomirs (but there are other sizes too, 47mm and a few in 42mm)

Yes, I guess I should not have presumed that he did not own a 372 as well. He did post a photo of one here on this forum, but it was a photo that could have been gotten anywhere as there was nothing distinguishing about it. I think the photo you posted above is the same kind of photo.
I specifically asked him to post a photo with his 372 and the Burj Khalifa in the background. I asked that so he could not take someone else's photo and say it was his.

I guess I just don't like being lied to. I was tired of his 'bluntness' and highly subjective opinions as well.
Anyway, I won't waste any more energy on him and his non-sense.

Cheers!

Love the strap. Is it the Jules Verne (JV)? If not, where can I find one?

Thanks,

Love the 190. I'd own one if it didn't say stupid "8 DAYS" on the dial.

Wow, if that's all it took to turn you off, might I suggest a Kampfschwimmer? Unfortunately you'll only get 36hrs power reserve out of it though...

@Takuya - yes, the 2011/12 Radiomirs are beautiful indeed, but once you have an 8-day movement... everything else seems ...

I see. The only new Rad that looks good to me is the 399, but it comes with plexi only...damn.
