Ok, guys, I'm going to admit my ignorance here. Would someone please explain:

"Festives"
"Festivus"
"Festaves"
"The Strike"

I feel like the American standing around with a bunch of Frenchman, one of whom told a joke and they're all laughing, and I have no idea what the joke was.

Ah, that's the problem. Seinfeld was on Thursday nights. That's my poker night, so I never got to watch the show.

It was very funny, but I never got into the cult following. I actually starting watching it in syndication.

The show runs almost constantly in reruns. On any given weeknight, I can see it on at least 3 channels.........I watched it when it was still an active show, and it was great. I haven't really watched it much since the very last (and disappointing) eopisode.

It is prolly the best ensemble cast and the best written show on TV, ever. A close second is the Simpsons.

While I thought the final episode was disappointing at the time, in hindsight, and having seen it a few times in re-run, I have to say I think it was a good way to end the show. How else could it have ended? With Jerry and George successful in TV? Nah...

Remember, the saying on the show was 'no lessons learned' and the final episode clung on to that saying in a big way. It could have been different, but all in all, a good way to finish and revisit all our favourite sub-charactors.

Yes, I really have. I'm supposed to close on my new house this week and get moved. I'm also on call.

Further, some folks at work want to rearrange everything, knocking me out of the barely tolerable office I have now to something less so. They've got movers scheduled and everything but today was the first time I got to look at the "proposed" floor plan (imagine that, I spend my days taking care of patients instead of playing these silly games.) and I don't like it at all. Problem is, if I complain, I look like the bad guy holding up everthing. I'm working on a counterproposal.

I welcome any advice on how I can nicely say, "Hey, it's hard enough to drag my a$$ in here in the first place and if I'm in a more sucky office I might not come in at all, wankers." You know, all political like.

Any ideas?
