Decisions, decisions

Not sure if I want to go with a 320 or a 392. I don't NEED the GMT function, but I like the piece. OTOH the 392 has the same movement and 22mm lugs which will enable me to use the dozen straps I already have for the 241.

I also could get the 244, 48, 310, or 298 but I really want the inhouse movement.

I know there is no right or wrong answer. I'm not wealthy but the price diff is not a factor; I want to get what I want but need to figure that out. Is there any other factor anyone could suggest than the fact that there ARE a ton of 24mm straps out there as well as 22's.......

I have no issue with the 42mm as I have no issue with the 40mm of the 241. There IS some appeal however, to having the "basic" PAM size of 44mm.

Is there any reason why the 312 is not a contender?

As for lug widths and strap collections... well, if you've spent a small fortune on 22mm straps, I can understand why it's a bit expensive to go to 24mm lugs... . However, maybe that's the excuse you need in order to continue the strap addiction, lol

Good luck

Yes I forgot about the 312. which would be a contender.

I wonder if the bracelet for the 241 will fit the 392. I know it's 22mm but the AD told me the end links may not be the same; the lug holes may not be in the same alignment.

This isn't petty cash either way, so I want to be sure I am happy, and I can't buy more than one, not right now. And I don't want to sell anything. Hunt starts tomorrow.

Between 312 and 320, you say you don't "need" the GMT, so, 312 is a no-brainer, cost-wise.

But, I wouldn't discount the 392 just because it's 42. Depends on how the 312 and 392 fit you. If the 312 fits you, might as well go for it and start a 24 strap collection. From what I can tell, there's more choice at 24.

Of those mentioned, I'd go 312 or 320.
44mm enables you to buy more straps.

Good points... 312 will save a lot of $$$ over the 320 and look almost identical. I think that 44 mm is a good size, as there are (as Cru says) so many strap options for 24 mm lugs

Thank you all for the advice. Not sure where this will lead, but when I come to a fork in the road I will take it...
