16803 Bracelet upgrade

I have a blue 16803, the older TT sub with the SS clasp. I want to upgrade the bracelet to the newer version with SEL and gold through the clasp. Does anyone know the best way, price? Or is it even worth it to try and upgrade the just the bracelet? Should I just keep the watch original and try and upgrade or trade up the whole watch? I am actually thinking about the black TT, any help is appreciated on this one.

If it's a keeper for you, and if it were me, I'd keep it original. I've had the Subs with the TT clasp and I hazed up the polished gold segment within a month on tabletops, and other surfaces.

Just my 2¢

Post in the classifieds, I'm sure someone will have a bracelet available for you.

If you don't plan on flipping the watch, I would definitely buy the newer style bracelet/clasp.

I don't think that the SEL will fit on the older 16803 cases. Before you make such a purchase, make sure that your case has the machined ledge on the back of the case between the lugs...

If not, no SEL will fit without considerable machine work..
