Thanks Hal. I already pulled the trigger and made the call to DavidSW. Should have it by Friday.

Congrats!!!! Well done man, you won't regret it. I am wearing my Diver as I type this post. I personally love the comfort of the Diver and how spectacularly nice it is. Here's a pic I took yesterday.

Can't wait to see your pics unboxing that beauty. As Long mentioned, once you put it on you'll see what we mean.

Both nice watches, I would take a diver over the Daytona, but that is me.

The Diver def, for me its the ultimate luxury sports watch, and if you put it on a hornback strap it can double as a dress watch as it has no outer bezel numbers.

Very true. Never thought of that. In fact, I'd love to see the Diver on a hornback strap.

If I am not mistaken Dalip posted some pics of his on a hornback a while ago. Very nice look indeed.

Yup I found it. Man does it ever look super sexy. The contract between the dial and strap looks amazing.

Here is the link if anyone is interested.

This is a common progression, at least in my experience. I never "got" the appeal of AP until recently, and then it just clicked. Now many of my other watches don't look as good to me. It's an expensive malady, but you are in good company...
