Day 3? Bit strange starting on a monday. Thought these usually finish on the weekend.

Probably because it's promoted by Matchroom Sport, which is HQ'd in England. So they are more concerned with exposure over there because it is broadcast live on television in Europe, but not so in the USA.

It plays in the evening when it's there so people can get to it on a week night and they fill the hall no problem. And people are home from work so they can watch it live on television. It's not so critical to them that it is during the day on work days in the USA because it is not broadcast live on TV here anyway.

When in the US it's usually played in Vegas during the day on the weekend for similar reasons. More people can get to Vegas to attend on a weekend and fill the venue; and it will play live in prime time back in Europe.

That's my guess.

Wow, Europe steamrolled Team USA 4-1 today , are up 9-6 in the event, and poised to finish it off early tomorrow.
