To Sea Goer:

Thanks for the help

Oh man, I got this watch from my AD in 2006, I did not know it was that old. Is there any issue about it?

Thanks again.

I'm sorry my mistake. It was 2005 when I got it.

No issue with it. Most probably you bought a F serial TOG. The date on the clasp indicates when the watch was put together; nothing more, nothing less.
IN April of 2005, Rolex came out with the D serials. Most ADs, especially the smaller ones, did not get them until a few months after and ofcourse they tried to sell the older inventory first.
If you ever decide to sell it, a F serial may bring in a bit less than a D serial and thats all the difference.
Enjoy your watch!

Thanks very much, I like when I find forums where people help and answer questions to a newbie person like me.

A BIG beer to the one who finds out what the "15/423" code stands for!

I have phoned three AD's today, and no one them had a clue.
