Newbie - First Rolex

My father gave me his Rolex many years ago but it was a too plain for my taste at the time...It"s starting to grow on me. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Rolex Oyster, manual wind Model 6429, 34mm. Probably from the late 60's.

Many of these came with "Commando" as a model badge, but many others were non-badged.

Sorry for the multiple posts. When I didn't see the first one I thought the pictures were the wrong format and well the rest is history.

Thanks for the warm welcome. The serial number is 2075503. That seems to indicate a build between 66 and 67. Does that sound right?
