How many Deepsea manufactured each year ? ?

Hi.

I wonder how many Deepsea manufactured each year ?

I had a discussion with one of my friends (panerai fanatic) , he said rolex was
mass produced shit . He has a pam 111 , would be fun if if it was less deepsea produced than pam 111 each year :)

I think your friend left out the "da" before shit. With that inserted, his conclusion makes perfect sense.

According to Rolex, somewhere between 1 and about 800,000. Just an approximation...

No one knows for sure. Rolex produces somewhere around 750k watches per year in total output, so we're talking thousands of Deepseas. Panerai make nowhere near that many, indeed, no other luxury watchmaker can seriously compete when it comes to making such vast numbers of high quality watches. But low production numbers does not necessarily equate to higher quality or greater desirability

If you really want to wind your friend up, just tell him that Panerai doesn't use their own movement in the 111

You should tell your friend that Rolex made the movement for Panerai at the very beginning.

This.

I'm a Panerai fan too, but geez. I'd love to add a DSSD to my collection.

Likely to be more DSSD produced than Pam111. Possibly even more DSSD than all model Pams, but this is difficult to confirm.

But you can tell him his 111 has an ETA movement in it of which there is likely 100's of thousands produced every year.

Rolex is known worldwide and their quality is second to none. There is a reason they are so popular and can produce many watches each year.

My friend brought up a good point. If you were on vacation in a foreign country and had nothing on you but your Rolex and cloths on your back that Rolex is your ticket home. Try saying that about a Panerai or any other watch for that matter.
