Thanks for the tip about the cessation of production of this model. I would advise anyone thinking about one, the time is right, it will be an Omega classic IMHO.

Yes, it is the 2234.50, I have just taken off the bracelet and put on a strap. It definitely does have an anti-reflective crystal (coated on the inside.) You can check it out at omega.ch. The white and black do have a few differences - the white is all brushed metal case and bracelet, where the black has polished lugs, crown, bezel edges and center links to the bracelet, otherwise it's the same watch. The white is discontinued and the black has just been, or is just about to be, so don't hang around too long. Omega will probably replace them with co-axle models and a healthy price hike.

I'm going to try and pick up the black face GMT in the New Year sales. Looks a great watch and will mean my poor Sub can have a rest from daily wrist duties for a while...........
