Greetings from Indy
Howdy All... not a current Rollie owner, but have plans to be one this coming Spring. I've been stricken with the sickness of being obsessed with timepieces I'm afraid.
My sickness started a few years ago upon my purchase of a Tag Kirium F1 (very happy with this watch as well). In doing some research on it, I stumbled upon the WIS community and the rest is history. Been longing for a Rolex since living in Geneva, Switzerland as a kid (early 80's) and looking into all the jewelry windows with utmost admiration. Have been to a local AD to look at the GMTII pieces (new and old), and while there was shown a Sub LV. Herein lies my dilemma... which to start with first. Undoubtedly other acquisitions will follow (I know better). Personal notes -- big Formula 1 fan, enjoy working on autos, have lived in Europe, Asia, and various places in the USA. I'll be taking some photos upon my first Rollie acquisition. Cheers Mates, Steve |

Welcome to TRF, Steve!
Which Rolex to start with? I would suggest you go to your AD and try on as many models as possible, and the one that smiles back at you is the one to go for. I for my part got the SS Sub Date as my first Rolex.
