My dads buddy gave me a pen worth about a 100 bucks once. I can't remember the name of it but I remember why I don't buy nice pens. Anyways the next day I'm in the market buying groceries and when I pay with a credit card I sign the receipt and out of habit I gave the checkout lady my 100 pen. I didn't realize what I did until about 8 hours later and it was safe to say my pen was gone.

I hate when that happens. Years ago, when in high school, working as a grocery clerk, I couldn't tell you how many people gifted me some very nice pens. Most remembered and returned for their pens, but some didn't. When I caught what happened, I would run after them to return their pen. Some were early 70s MB.
