What to buy next?

I'm a newbie, trying to learn as much as I can and figure out what I'd eventually like in a collection. Right now, it's an accumulation, consisting of vintage Jaeger LeCoultre, some newer Chopards, a pile of crap, a few pocket watches, and of course, my Rolex Yachtsmaster and a circa 1922 ladies super cool 9k gorgeous thing that I'm afraid to wear much due to its age.

I'm going to start culling the pile of crap and would like to add a Rolex from my birth year (1960..ouch), yellow gold and collectable. I'd like it to look different enough from my steel and gold Yachtmaster to justify it to my husband who hasn't yet caught the "bug" despite him having a matching Yachtmaster (aww, how cute, right?) and a beautiful JLC from Zaf B. I read the thread about 31 vs. 36 for a woman's wrist with great interest, and concluded that either would be fine for me.

I'd like to keep the budget relatively modest for this acquisition, as in under 3k if even possible. So, oh knowledgeable gurus of Rolex, do you have any suggestions?

As always, thank you for your insight.

34mm 1005 or 1003 in 14K or 18K. You can pick up a head for $2500 or less. Nice size for a lady, not too big, not too small. Cal 1570. No date, thus you don't care about quick set vs non quick set. Looks nice on a leather bracelet. Different color dials are easy to find.

Nice! I like both of these. I'm still learning model numbers, but they're a much more efficient means of identifying what people are talking about. Now I get to have fun and try to find birth year. From the list I saw online, the serial should start with 550xxx?
