Strongly considering this 16750 - opinions please

Hi,

Am a vintage newbie who is strongly considering purchasing this 16750.

It is a 724563x serial circa mid to late 1982, with 78360 bracelet and 580 endlinks, clasp code v8. Last serviced 2009.

Please let me know your thoughts!

Much appreciated!

I agree, does look nice. Make sure you check under the hood. If the price is reasonable I say go for it.

Very clean looking watch. Wouldn't mind it in my collection as long as the price is right. I say go for it if you can get the right deal

My favorite GMT! My wife's cousin has one in his stash that I've been trying to buy forever...but there is bad blood between them and he won't sell. SOB

that looks acceptable:

- thick'ish case that can take a polish
- end links are below case
- matching creme patina that's not piss yellow
- little hand corrosion
- original fat font insert

i'd go for that one myself if the price was right

Stunning! Make sure it's got a silver date wheel, but what's in the photos looks great! What's the asking price?

Hi all

Thanks for the feedback. Price is reasonable, and from a trustworthy source which is most important!

that's a good price for one that appears to be all original...

still, i'd go properly vintage and get a 1675... but this 16750 is lovely

Only the very early 16750's had silver date wheels. This one should be the off-white version and appears correct!

Looks nice but I think the clasp code should be F or G. I would look closely to see if the clasp has been worked on or maybe the band has been replaced. Looks like a very nice watch!

It appears that all the boxes are checked with this one. Nice.

I love the colour of the patina, and all matching. Also the early dial without the word "date". Sweet.

Jump on it after you see pics of caseback, and movement.
