Help with Strap decision
Which strapped watch in this photo grabs your eye the most? I am going to build my own straps starting tomorrow and I would appreciate popular interest in which strap look works for you folks :-)
Thanks for helping me decide the direction to go for my first build |

Great picture. Nice moody lighting and well composed. Now if we could see one with both watches and straps side by side and clearly visible it might help us make a decision.

i personally like the one on the left, but no offense, the buckle looks kind of tacky to me.

agreed re the over-sized 'weapon' buckle! I prefer the leather of the one on the right

I like the straps but I agree those PAM style buckles are too big.

Thank you for the criticism. I agree the v buckle shouldnt be on the straps I will make. I am going to use thumbnail buckles.
I think I just make a strap and show that here and see what you all think :-) Thanks for looking |

I vote for a NATO, Isofrane or Di Modell rallye strap.

These are nice substantial buckles, heftier than standard thumbnail, and not as large as Pre V. I use them on all my PAM straps except for a couple of special ones from Micah.

I want to stick to a more traditional thumbnail for now. I have some here at home I can remove from factory made straps. |
