How rare is the Oyster Perp. ND?

Hi all.

Do you know how rare the Oyster Perp. ND with cal.3130 is?

Don't see much of them.

My father has a TT one. Sometimes, he miss the date on it. Should he sell and buy one with cal.3135/3185 instead?
Should do you experts think?

Thanks.

The Oyster Perpetual is not rare, at all, and the reason why you don't see it often is probably that it is also not a sough-after model.

If your father needs a Rolex with a date function, he could go for the Sub Date with Cal. 3135 movt.

Or a (now discontinued) GMT II with 3186 movt. Alternatively, he could pick up the Explorer II which has the same movt.

Or he could go for the NEW GMT IIc (ceramic bezel insert) with the 3186 movt.
