Tips for selling a Rolex
Hello everyone, I am new to the forums. I am seeking advice on selling a Rolex. It looks like according to forum rules there is some criteria to meet before posting up a watch for sale. Any advice for listing a Rolex watch online? I plan on having good quality pictures with high resoultion available to be emailed. I have all the orignal documents and box. I also have the certifcate that came with the watch.

If I had a watch I wanted to sell, I would look at the sale forum here and see how the trusted sellers present their watches. That would be a good start.

make you do you not price yourself out of the market.
Unless you are priced right you wont get any interest from all of the educated buyers on TRF |

Being a new seller, make sure you very explicitly indicate terms. You may have to provide references as you don't have a post history.

It would be best if you have a track record of selling something of similar or equal value that can be verified by a potential buyer. Any high-cost sales online require trust, and a seller without references and a online footprint that can be checked out will be at an extreme disadvantage.

Thanks for all the tips! Macro shots are a good idea! I should be able to get good close-ups with my Nikon D5100 in macro mode. |
