Have anyone seen anything like this?

Found this watch on a swedish site, it is said to be a "Genuine Rolex Explorer II Date" with a "Genuine leather strap".

Anyone seen anything like this? Fake, right?

/Tony

For a very easy start ; it says Oyster Perpetual Date...
Only there is no date ?!?

Very very fake...

Fun to look at nevertheless.

It didn't take long after my post here until the ad was removed from the site.

But still, as BadBoy says, fun to look at.

Familiarize yourself with what a Rolex movement looks like. They pretty much all look the same no matter what model number the watch is. Notice the color of the metal. Also, if you can see the movement through the case back then it is likely not a real Rolex. (though there are aftermarket clear case backs available)

I love how the minute track on the rehaut doesn't even line up with the dial.

I saw that as well--guess you just average the two.

I like the Rolex crown spinning gear. I wonder how fast that thing spins when the watch is running. Hopefully, very fast.

And if you ever see any like this you can automatically know it's fake because rolex has never made skeleton dials or see through casebacks. and the crown shouldn't seat flatly against the case there should be a small gap(its how the crown seats itself with the o rings.) and like others have said the dateless datejust... seems to be pretty common on alot of fakes.

This is a tough one. You really have to have a keen eye. The give-away is the dial reads 'Oyster Perpetual Date' yet there is no date.

I threw up a little in my mouth when I looked at that photo...
I'm going to Google image Kate Upton to try to erase the image from my mind.
