Rubber is comfy!

Threw on the rubber strap this morning since I wanted to see what it would look like. Very comfy and looks good on the watch I think.

Any ideas on other strap choices such as color combo or materials which would go well with it?

Well I love the OEM rubber strap - just put it on mine today and despite my small but excellent collection of custom aftermarket straps, I think I use the rubber strap the most... . Many here feel that it's too pretentious because of the "bold" OP logo on it but hey, I like it, what can I say

I'd certainly look into a grey strap for that Daylight of yours, white+black+grey would look pretty nice. Reddish-browns could also make for a nice combo. Check out Toshi - Rich has a large variation in colors. Also check out D9 - John uses some interesting "skins", like stingray, shark, Bullfrog, ostrich, etc.

Hmmm, grey might be interesting. I will have to checkout Toshi and John.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Would love to see any white dialed Pam's with different colored straps for reference? HINT...

Good Evening,
Was just going to start a new thread about a Smoke Grey strap I received from Rob Montana, aka... The Strap Smith! My pics are not the best, will have to take more tomorrow in better light. Strap is amazing in person with the white dial!

My 243 is finally wearing it's oem strap and it sure is comfy! The Mario Paci strap I spent a fortune on (first strap) was between holes and never fit right..damm I then got a metal bracelet that I had to modify to fit (my wife was adamant about metal, why so much $$$$ spentand no metal?). NOT comfortable while on vacation and the diver extension didn't extend enough for the wetsuit so I had taken the OEM strap down (good thing) so on went the rubber and that was that.

I however have on order the Di Stefano Octopus strap after I swore no more new shoes.... that blue is so gooood! damm addiction.

I had not been a fan of rubber straps or to be honest any straps for years as I was a bracelet guy. A few years back I bought a Doxa and it came with an extra rubber dive strap.

One day out of boredom I swap out the bracelet for it and I was, DAMN... This a) looks cool and b) was really comfortable to wear. Since then I have had a rubber strap for a few watches and they are great.

My AP for instance is also very comfy on the rubber dive strap so if you have not tried one before, they make a nice change.

Oem

Put the OEM strap on today and kind of like it again. I've probably tried 6 different straps over time and forgot how comfortable this strap was. Sorry for the crappy picture but I love the 251.

Totally agree

Love the rubber strap its so comfy that the SS bracelet the PAM came with has not been back on since getting the rubber... actually thinking of selling the bracelet cause I don't think I will ever swap it back!

**UPDATE** More Rubber!

I wanted to find a white strap for this summer which could get wet and found a company which makes an "OEM look" rubber strap in colors.

Very nice quality and I think it fits the bill perfectly!

Goes with the RG shirt and matching white belt!

251's Rock! It was a close second when I was deciding on a white dial Pam. Since my Zenith also has an ivory dial, I wanted more of a white so opted for the 188 but love the clean dial of a 251!
