I literally bought like 12 pairs, and spent a fraction doing it. I'm super jacked cause I went there for weeks and ran a muck.

If you're ever in Scottsdale, check out Industrie Denim in Scottsdale Quarter. Amazing staff and denim.
Hey Brandon, that's great news! Half your luck buddy. Thanks for the info anyway, could be very handy for me.

We're coming to USA in a month or so, and driving from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon - with a nights stop-over in Flagstaff. Do you know how far the drive is (or how long) from Flagstaff to Scottsdale? We may be able to detour and if I'm lucky, they may still have stuff on sale

Hey John!

That's awesome to hear you are coming to the U.S! Is it your first visit here? The Grand Canyon really is something. I live here, don't go as often as I should, but it still impresses me. It's incredible.

A trip from Flagstaff to Scottsdale is around 1.5/2 hours depending on traffic and weather. Lots to do in that area, and in Phoenix in general. Lots of great places to look at watches in that area as well. Hamra is right across the street and are a Rolex/Patek AD.Industrie is a great place, and have some of the best denim.

Let me know if you make it down!

You should check out the Jean Shop in NYC. They have some cool stuff and supposedly are experts on denim. You can make your own custom jeans there where you pick the denim and washes. I have a pair of raw Seven jeans which I love. When I first bought then they were crispy as hell and rough, but now they are broken in perfect. I haven't washed them in 2 - 3 years. If you talk to jean officiandos they will tell you you shouldn't machine wash your jeans and if you are going to wash them at all you should do so with them on in the shower and just use some soap.

All great places and ideas!

I only do cold water soaks with hand agitation and Woolite Dark. Hang dry. Freezer helps along the way for sure as well.
