Stealth love: how the 16550 stole my heart

Rotation has become a thing of the past. I used to switch between watches daily or weekly as the mood took me. But a few months ago, something changed: rotation stopped.

Why? A 16550 snuck up on me and stole my heart. I bought it with a nice older Explorer I, thinking they'd make a nice little set. They do. But somehow, only the 16550 gets worn. I can't pinpoint when the change happened, but it did.

This watch, which I bought on a little bit of a whim, has benched some tough competitors, including other Explorers and a Sub that always used to get a run out.

It completely got me and I love it. Has this ever happened to you?
