Circa 1940s Tudor Sterling Silver Ball Pendant Watch
Thought I'd share this really cool find! This is a Tudor ball woman's watch from the 40s. I love the sterling engraved case!

Simply beautifull
These are quite rare... I have ony seen two of them and I have the other one. I've never been able to find anyone with any idea on the value of these fine lil Tudors. Mine is 14K gold and I'm in the process of cleaning and fixing it.
Did you ever have your appraised? any idea what it's worth in Sterling or Gold? Anyway, hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine! |

Nice. I have a gold one as well, which I inherited when my grandmother passed away. The face is slightly different in that it only displays the 12, 3, 6, & 9 hours. The engraving on the edge is different as well. It has a single flower on the center of both sides with leaves extending to the top and bottom, rather than the X's and l's. The rest of the watch appears to be identical and it seams to be in near mint condition.
I'm wondering what it's value is as well. Last edited by Hawke; 9 July 2011 at 02:11 AM.. Reason: additional description details |

tudor ball pendant
My mom has a ball pendant very similar to the one in the picture but with just 12,3,6, and 9 and the design on the side is different, sort of stretched x shapes, but otherwise looks the same (but with significant water damage). My grandmother bought it in Switzerland when she was in the US Airforce in the 1940s or early 50s. It has a lot of rust on the inside and we're trying to find somewhere to get it repaired. Finding information on it has been difficult, but if anyone has more info we would love to hear more about it!
