No Cameras Allowed

I have seen many concerts in my life, but IMHO, nobody beats Trans Siberian Orchestra when it comes to lights and pyrotechnics!
The concert was sold out, and they played for over 3 hours.
For Dallas only, they also had Paul Johnson of Bad Company (and now with Queen) singing a bunch of Bad Company songs.

TSO does not allow cameras, and I almost got kicked out several times for using my camera phone.

Here are some pics taken with the iPhone.

Looks like it was a great show. I'm kicking myself for missing them here in Hamilton last month, darn it.

Yeah... as a rule of thumb, camera phones pretty much suck.
The iPhone has a decent camera though, and I was really impressed with the quality considering the lack of ambient light at the concert.
I'm fortunate enough to have a steady hand so that helps too.
A kid next me had an iphone too and all his shots were blurry.

They are a former heavy metal band called Savatage, which in 1989 started playing nothing but Christmas music in a hard rock/metal style. They get a lot of radio time around Christmas here in the states, and they average about 25.000.000 in ticket sales for the two months or so that they tour every year through US.Here are a couple of (probably camera phone 8-) ) videos from their concerts.
Wizards In Winter
Bethoven's Last Night
Mad Russian's Christmas (watch around minute 3 and 10 sec for lasers)
A Promise To Keep
Oh Holy Night
Christmas Canon Rock (I think this one is from the Jay Lenno Show) Plus I think that their lead female singer is hot LOL
Christmas Eve Sarajevo. Probably their most famous song. Skip the boring 3 first minutes. Awesome lasers around minute 4
Requiem Crazy lights from the start in this one.
