SS SubC vs. YG YM

Alright guys, Im wondering what will hold its value the best over they next year or two. A 2012 116610 SubC or a mid 2000's 16628 yellow gold Yacht Master. I obviously know there is a large price difference and age difference between the two watches but I am simply wondering which watch will holds its value better in the coming years.

Tough to say, and all depends on what kind of initial value you get each at. That said, SS may be easier to flip...

Sub-c would probably hold the better value; but that YG YM is pretty nice! Get the watch that you like, not the one that will be a better investment. (unless that's the only reason you're buying a watch)

Prob the all gold YM ... it's already 6-8 years old, so you're not paying the markup due to a new SubC. Plus, there is something about an all gold that's very alluring ...

Ya I'm having a hard time. I love all of the updates that the subc has but there's something about all gold...

Is the 2012 SubC used or brand new? If it's brand new the YG YM will certainly retain it's value better, however, it will be easier to find a buyer for the SubC

Either way, if you're deciding between these two watches I'd say YG Yacht-Master by a mile, not even close.

Depends on the deal, but I'd lean YG YM. The sub will have a bigger potential re-sale mkt, but theres just something about that Yg.
