My Everest trip...
Thanks very much to ArmyGuy03 for the Everest review, and of course your service to us!! Based on his review I ordered the Everest strap and SS deployant clasp. After about an hour and a little cussing it is installed.
I am pleased with the comfort of the strap, but not 100% thrilled with the clasp. Maybe when I grow some fingernails I'll feel better. Anyway I especially like the flush fit of the strap to the case. Overall I am happy.... |

Looks good....I love mine. What was the issue you had with the clasp? I got the PVD coated clasp with mine and was looking at possibly buying the one you have also.

My only complaint originally was the stiffness of the clasp, gets easier after a few days. The band might be the most comfortable.

Well it's growing on me. My initial issue was the edge of the clasp facing the 12 (top of watch) stuck out a bit. I still think it does but it bothers me less and I don't think it will get caught on anything. One nice thing about having a slug of nice watches is that I do not have a daily wearer. They all go into rotation so none of them get beat up and if I find that one doesn't work with a certain shirt etc there are always others.
I am also lucky enough to be able to wear whatever I want to work, and I very rarely wear long sleeves. I plan to wear the SD on this strap all day, I really do like it. |

Bob, does yours have any bumps in the rubber on the top side where it mates to the case?
Mine and another friend's did, which was very disappointing based on it's price point.
