My first Rolex... 16570

Hi Everyone,

this time it's on me to share my first Rolex experience. It was yesterday morning when I met Fred (red1108nyc) for a face to face transaction on a beautiful Explorer II 16570 I had my eyes laid on for some time. (Fred is a true gentleman and I had no doubt from the beginning that he is the right guy to do my first Rolex- well first internet buy- with. Thanks again Fred!!).

He met me in Midtown on a cold, early morning where I could look at that beauty for the first time. Happy with this beauty in my bag I was off to work. Let me tell you, not easy to focus on work and not to play with the new watch.

I couldn't wait any longer so I left the office to get my new watch sized. I stepped by the Rolex building on 5th Ave were I really had a great experience as well. The watchmaker on the ground floor sized the bracelet right away and was kind enough to gift me a nice travel case.

All in all a perfect Monday despite the poor weather. Is there a better way to start a week?:)

Below a couple of pictures (poor phone quality).

Thanks to all, without this forum this deal wouldn't have happened! :)

Congratulations! Looks fantastic on you, and no, there is no better way to spend your day than getting a Rolex on your wrist. Wear it in good health, the Exp11 is a great start to any collection.

Buddy Andreas,

It was great to meet you as well. Nothing pleases me more than seeing you enjoying this beauty... and the green pouches from RSC is nice touch too!

Enjoy the exp II in good health and best of life friend!

Best,

Fred
