Service on a Submariner
Other than a RSC can anyone recommend an independant watch repairer to service a submariner in the UK.

I think independents are charging similar amounts. There is a chap in Beverley, east Yorks. William Rice who gets good reviews. Take it into West Malling, Kent yourself. £430 well spent.

yes your right, I spoke to william rice last week and they quoted £370, I spoke to the RSC in kent and it looks like I will take it to them although they quoted a 6 week turnaround. Theres a lot of mention on Ricki in the states in this forum and I just wondered if we had a uk version here.

I haven't heard if a UK Rikki. Keith on South Coast seems to have plenty of expertise but not sure if he services them.
To be honest I wouldn't mess around and take the risk, if you get it done at Rolex they give you 2 year warranty I think. |
