Need Advice / Help
Hi
a total newbie out here ... Have been a big fan of Rolex for years ... i have 2 questions ... I have inherited a Rolex form my family ... I know the watch i have is an old Date Just .. I wanted to know how do i check and know models, serial no etc of the watch ... Also was planning to buy a Rolex Submariner Submariner 18k/SS 116613 from this Forum ... Was wondering which is the latest Serial no series ... Sorry if i sound dumb or ignorant ... Just wanna do the right thing ... before i buy my first Rolex Would appreciate all the help and advice ... regards kevin |

Kevin, welcome to TRF. Serial and reference (model) numbers can be found engraved into the sides of the case between the lugs that hold the bracelet to the watch. Remove the bracelet and you will see them.
Latest serial numbers for all references are now unknown as they are now a random combination of numbers and letters. Prior to this the last semi traceable serial numbers started with a G which you can still find in AD's cases. After that all went to random. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
