Of the pictured watches, if you want precious metal, I would go YG, then WG.

I'm looking for a WG (pre-owned), black face as I think it is absolutely gorgeous.

Pre-owned for I think they lose value rather quickly compared to the SS models.

I briefly owned a Blk SS Daytona Zenith movement. I sort of regret selling it but I really wanted the 4130 all in house movement. But for some reason, I never like the Zenith movement despite it being a very good movement.

In my opinion only, I think the 4130 is the most perfect movement Rolex has ever made. It is a genius in engineering with so few components yet function with flawless perfection. Throw in the paranchrom mainspring and really, there is no better movement by any manufacture, again my opinion, regardless of price.

Classics are more for sentimental/collectible purposes for me. If I got a mint Paul Newman, I doubt that I would wear it that much. Defeating the purpose, for me, what a Rolex stands for.

But! The most important thing is to buy what you like. Everyones enjoyment is different.

No, there's no rumors.

I'd wait for Basel. Maybe Rolex introduce a Daytona with ceramic bezel and bracelet.

Now we have RG Daytona with ceramic bezel but it has leather strap. Oyster barcelet fits better than strap to Daytona, IMHO.

Got this one. Really liking it so far. Maybe I will send it to Project-X Designs for a complete black out look if I ever want a change and also get a WG version.

Thanks for the all help guys!

I looked hard at a vintage, but couldn't justify the cost. Bought the RG ceramic with leather strap, ivory face. Love it.
