Need Help: Crown Purchased from eBay

Hello all,

I recently purchased a "genuine" Rolex crown #B24-703-0-G1 on eBay to replace the crown on my sub 16610. The crown is listed as genuine on the sales auction and even comes in the bubble packaging with the chip. However from what I can tell the crown seems to be a different size, quality, and finish than the 16610 crown. There are 3 explanations for this, either; this is the wrong part #, this is a much older version of a 16610 crown, or the part is not genuine.

Overall this eBay crown looks to be narrower than a 16610 crown, it happens to be the same exact width as the crown on my Tudor 79090 which I know is narrower than my 16610 crown. Could this just be the wrong part # or an older version of this part #?

The one thing that is making me lean more towards it being fake is the finishing on the back of the teeth. See comparison below.

Top (16610) / Middle (Tudor 79090) / Bottom (eBay)

Please help! BTW, I am withholding the seller's eBay ID in case I am the wrong one in this instance. If it is confirmed to be a fake or misrepresented item then I will post the link to the sales ad.

You got what looks to be a 24-703-0 (old style),
your 16610 should use a 24-704-0 monobloc.
