Wow, I've never seen that before. There appears to be some other nice vintage watches on that site too.
I'm very curious as to what the price will be...

Well its a 1997/8 ordinary 16710 with a dial has been painted with Chuck Yeager on the dial plus some engraving on case back and its limited to 50 watches.I would doubt if they are authorised by Rolex and have any official backing from Rolex. And would expect for these types of watches they want a huge mark up for a few fonts on dial plus a engraved case back.Yeager was a World War II fighter pilot ace who became the first person to break the sound barrier in 1947.But on that flight he was wearing a Rolex but it was not a GMT it was a OP. Now chuck was a big Rolex fan he used to wear a 6538 Rolex Submariner,it was much later in his life he started to wear the Coke GMT.

I'm with Peter. Some unauthorized boutique edition for the 50th anniversary.
Some sucker will buy it.

I have seen only two for sale in Hong Kong at two different second hand dealers and they were asking around $13000USD.

Well I know the Real McCoy brand is a

VERY authentic flight jacket maker from New Zealand. Though not sure if it is "this" Real McCoy or not I have a vintage B-3 WWII bomber from them. Curious ???

I'm sure it's quite hard to flip that one over.

I know I wouldn't want it in my collection.
