Hi!
I just ordered an alligator strap from Omega today. Because I need a short strap I have to wait 4-6 weeks for it to arrive from Switzerland. Price...nearly $400

Now that I've bitten the bullet and paid the price the question is how can I make this strap last as long as possible? I'll minimize wear during hot humids days for sure.
I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions about care from day 1 in making it comfortable and keeping it looking good.

FWIW, I ordered the brown alligator strap to wear with my Speedmaster 3572.50.
