GMT 2 c with a leather strap?
I have never tried the combination before. Anyone here who have tried it? Any pictures? Found these pictures at timezone.uk, I think it looks really nice. What do you think?

Wow before clicking the link I was going to say a GMT-IIc w/ leather strap made me throw up in my mouth alittle bit. But, after clicking the link it looks really good. Croc strap, if it was plain leather I don't think it would look that good.
PS - That guy has some really filthy photography skills. The photos look like they are destined for the Rolex catalogue. |

I know people here have mixed feelings about replacing the original bracelet with a strap. I have been considering doing this on my GMT II c as well.
I personally like the look Sean

Not bad at all. As one of the posters said, "The black makes that watch look dangerous."

I'd rather wear the black croc leather than the current polished-center-link bracelet trend Rolex seems to be galloping towards.

Here is a shot from TZ.
Currently have this same Hirsch Carbon black strap on my 16710 GMT. My 116710 (GMT-IIc) is sporting its heavy factory bracelet.

Terrific look!
I actually like it despite the fact that I personally am normally against adding non-Rolex straps and other parts on a Rolex. A natural rubber strap could also be cool on it, IMHO.

These look very nice, but I think the white stitching on both straps make them look narrower than they really are.
Given the bulky lug housing, I'd say this is the opposite of the effect you'd want to strive for. Perhaps try a strap that isn't stitched, or if stitched - stitched with the same color? |

I'm a conservative watch guy and don't think leather looks good on a tool watch but that looks quite good.
