AP owner, is crown problem is a common for AP watches ?
So far I had 3 AP watches that has the same problem .. crown.
The Crown, you can keep winding it after adjust the time and cant be locked.
Happened to my previous GP, RG and my new GP.
Never had any problems with other my other brands, and also I hardly wore these watches since I always rotate my watches on the weekend wear only.
I asked AP Clearwater and they never can give me the answer.

3 APs all H serial numbers and havent had any issues so far. My diver is the oldest (2.5 years) and gets wound and the time set most weekends. Interested to hear from other people and their experience.

havent heard of that specific problem, but when i sent my GP in, they replaced the crown even though there was nothing wrong with it.

one could speculate that they discovered the fault and are making pre-emptive fixes

Crowns had always been the Royal Oak's 'Achilles Heel'.

Since 1998 with my first 5402s I've always had crown issues with them. The last one was my Diver. All now in working order.

The crown is always exchanged when left for service
