scary video tutorials on youtube

These are pretty scary - I admire this guys educational objective however, pray that he's never behind the door as my watchmaker or technician!

I really enjoyed how beer was an integral part of the resizing and bezel change!

Nothing like working on watches while intoxicated. His technique with the hammer was admirable!

Title should read: What NOT to when sizing a bracelet.

Those tools in the hands of an obviously drunk man give me the shivers!

Couldn't finish the videos- too afraid of what that NASA ex-patriate might do next. He may be a watchmaker by night, but by day I'll bet his biggest concern is if you want fries with that...

Now THAT was funny. However, after removing a Rolex bezel, there will be a small "spring" clip that isn't present in the watch in the video. That clip is EXTREMELY important and can easily be lost or pop out when removing the bezel, a small fact he forgot to mention between sips of beer.

That spring clip provides the resistance and is what allows the bezel to only turn in one direction. The spring clip can also be adjusted for tension.

I don't recommend that anyone attempt to remove his/her own bezel, but if you do, be aware that there IS that small spring clip and it's imperative that it not be lost or you'll be contacting your RSC for a replacement part!!!
