corrosion hands

is the hands of 16750 and 16800 in the earlier date (around 1980-1985) easier to have the corrosion issue?
under the microscope,it looks like some Verdigris on it

I would also be curious if there is anything that can be done to either prevent or treat the corrosion while still protecting the integrity and originality of the hands. while i love vintage, this is one of the things that bugs me the most.

I have owned over 100 of these and the % that has corrosion is IMHO under 5%

I have seen alot of vintage watches with hands that have corroded. I like corrosion because it to me is "patina" BUT if it were major corrosion I would really be bugged.
