Anybody hosted another member at home?
I have met several of you and have liked you all.
That being said and after buying a new and bigger house (so I have room finally) here have any of you ever hosted a complete ( well other than our posts and PMs to each other ever hosted another TRF member at your home for a few days or more? Someone that you have never met. The internet is the internet and not face to face meetings. Would you host a TRF member in your home that you have never met in person. We have members all over the world. It is like couch surfing paradise. |

I wasn't doing the hosting, but I was invited over to SC to stay with Anth, a fellow TRF member, earlier this year. Had a wonderful time, and here are the results
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...=236536&page=2 We're planning another meet up next year, Anth is coming over to the UK - can't wait! Chris |

I was hosted by RogerF a few years ago when we had a Toronto GTG. I flew up from DC and stayed two nights at Roger's place. We had a great GTG and he was a great host.

I must've met thirty or more guys from the forum and although maybe only two or three have been to my home, I can honestly say that every single one of them would be welcome.
Except Dalip.

When we have our GTG here in The Burgh, I extend an invite for a "home visit" and do not hesitate to do so!
No one has taken me up on it, yet, though because our days are filled with other things to do.

Never for a GTG, but I have bought/sold to members in my home a few times. Not sure if I'd want a bunch of newbies I feel I know nothing about, but have not issue with doing so with the vast number of good folks here!!!

Any of my Brothers here on TRF are welcome to stay with me...checking the pockets won't be necessary.
