5513 on a dive...
...12 dives actually, last week off Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Poor viz and cold (15C at 20 m) but had a great time anyway. Always enjoy getting the Sub wet! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Braver man than I. Nice to see the 5513 in its element though.

Good seals, good case, pass pressure test, what's to be afraid of?
Good on you for stretching its legs, just as any old muscle / sports car needs to run triple digits every now & then ;)

I got my Sub new in '72 and have worn it much of its life! I had a complete rebuild done by RSC last year so it's good as new and loves to be in the water!

A Rolex Submariner, of any age, is a diver's watch. That's what it was designed for - that's what it's meant to do. As long as the diver has taken it upon himself to have an annual pressure test performed and the integrity of the seals verified - strap it on and take it down.
Good to see you're not afraid to take it back into the world its meant to be in. |
