TRF didn't push me into buying anything, but certainly helped my knowledge regarding the Rolex line. You guys are great.

I already had an Air King and a Tudor Chronograph, but TRF did push me over the edge to get a Blue Sub...

I would say that TRF has educated me more on the Rolex product line and as a result I have wanted to purchase more watches. I started checking TRF once a month now I'm checking several times a day.
I would say.......yes. |

Well, yes indeed!
I've been collecting watches for some time, but was never too much into Rolex. After I started reading TRF I got my first brand spanking new Rolex (Milgauss) and a week later a SS GMT IIc. Since I didn't absolutely loved the Milgauss, I'll be flipping it this week and I might get this week a new Sea Dweller! Well, at least this is as fun but a lot less expensive than flipping cars, lol ! |

I would have bought Bluesy irrespective of TRF. What you guys and gals have done is whetted my appetite for another 1, or 2....!!!
Hey Bgriz, nice Corvette. '65 or '66? The only think I like better than Rolex's are sports cars, and Sting Rays are in my top 2 favorites!

It makes me want to own a model each, but just can't decide which one to purchase first. It's a disease I tell ya.

I have always been fascinated with wrist watches since I was a boy. I had pocket watches until I reached my 16th birthday when my grandfather gave me a Doxa wrist watch. Rolex were always the unreachable dream to me but during the last 5 years I have been lucky enough to buy pre-owned and then work up to a new model.
My self diagnosis indicates that I did have the WIS disease of which TRF is a major contributing factor. Now that I am settled with my supreme model, I am comfortable posting here and find that the WIS ailment of 'flipping' has finally subsided from my mind! Cheers Steve |

I got my second ROLEX before I found this site. But, if I get the third one, which is very soon, then I will definitely blame all your guy here.

Hail yeah. See my post. I was perfectly happy with the watch I bought in December until I started reading this forum. Now I need a tool watch fix or a morphine drip.

JJ was a huge influence on me getting my TT Blue Sub. Rolex should give him a percentage or a commision.

This place is evil. I'm starting hear voices telling me to get way more Rolex watches than I could ever need. I'm having visions of wearing red 1680's and vintage GMT's and having a watch safe! I think I'm losing it. I need help.

I'd like to sue the forum for undue influence (brainwashing) on me without my knowledge and consent, but 2 problems:
1. I probably will not be able to show a loss because if I had to liquidate my watches, I might just get all my money back + more 2. I have not found out a way of suing myself and making it a win/win situation

well, i'm with Bo. can't blame TRF, but you guys certainly have made my case of 'watch madness' worse; in fact, MUCH worse.
best, dan |
